I have no idea how amps work, I just know I need one to power my pc360 right. What's a good amp for this?
So I'll be fine without an amp? I swear I was told I'll need one if I went for the Titanium and not the Xonar. I'm such a noob.
Since we're on the topic then, how would you say the PC360's sound quality fares as a gaming device first and music second?
I use an unamped sound card, thus the need for the FiiO E11. I can't vouch for the PC360s, but the PC350 sounded like sh!t out of the box. Thanks to this website and Hero's Mod I was able to salvage an overpriced cosmetic headband. Not sure what Sennheiser decided to do with the sound quality on their newer PC360s.
The Senn PC360 is 50-Ohm.
The Senn PC350 is 150-Ohm, so it is a little harder to drive then the PC360.
But the Titanium HD can (should) easily drive 150-Ohm headphones, if needed.
