Ever heard of Australian Rules Football??

You know, I was flipping through the channels one night (before I got TiVO) and I came across one of the strangest things I had ever seen. It happened to be Austrialian rules football. I had no idea what was going on but I ended up watching the entire game For those of you who haven't seen...

    CDP + ASL MG-HeadDT + A900 = :(

soooo.... call me crazy but swapping out the tubes for a new matched pair of EL84's and a new 12AX7R made this amp about 1000% better than it was before. The original tubes don't look blown (any of them), however these new tubes (which aren't anything special... just some I got from Guitar...

    CDP + ASL MG-HeadDT + A900 = :(

Anyone have any advice? I'm going to look for a new set of tubes this afternoon and see if they make any difference. If they don't, at least I'll have an extra set of tubes laying around.

    CDP + ASL MG-HeadDT + A900 = :(

So after getting frustrated with this, I did what any other self respecting head-fier would do... I took the amp apart to see if there was anything obviously wrong with the insides... There was a fuse that seemed to be loose so I popped it out and reseated it. Other than that everything...

    CDP + ASL MG-HeadDT + A900 = :(

I just received an A.S.L. MG-HeadDT amp today and couldn't wait to try it out. I plugged my IC into my sound card (office PC headphone jack) and the other end into the amp. I plugged in my A900s and let the amp warm up for an hour. After a quick listen I was upset with the sound quality. The...

Are the Sennheisers HD580 good for rock music?

I'd have to second the Grados. Even the SR60 would be better for rock than the senns. But if you have the cash just get the 225 and be done with it.

How are you backing up your music?

I back my music up to DLT. Each tape holds roughly 80GB compressed and 40GB uncompressed. Granted this method is a little expensive (the drives aren't cheap and neither are the tapes really), however if your music is that important to you then this is the most reliable way to go. Just remember...

    Tivoli CD Player...anybody heard it?

Just wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to use one of these since the last post to this thread. Supposedly Tivoli has revamped the production of this line (the defects are now very infrequent) and I was considering purchasing one of these for use at work (w/amp). Anyone have any...
