I upgraded my Fiio X5 (first gen) with the latest firmware X5 2.5..   The upgrade did not fix the scroll wheel issue - it seemed to me a contact issue....   So... because its very irritating I walk out to my bench/lab - thought MG Chemicals Nu-trol would be the best... didn't bother with...

Yup.. heh, actually listening to them now.  "Just lovely". :D   I switched off from my HD800's as the ambient noise was getting to me (kids/tv/wife)   Peace at last again.   TooCas

Yup... I own those.  Just fine for normal casual listening - pretty dang good pairing.  I use the the X3 with my E12 when having a more serious session.  Better dynamics... etc.   I'm waiting for the X5... hoping it will remove the need of the E12...  for better portability.   TooCas.

I just got mine today... Wonderful IEM's.  Much better than my ole IE8's  Closer to my HD800's.   Going through my HD tracks and reference stuff... Complicated passages in large orchestral movements are stunningly clear...   Never looking back.  they SHURE are the best.. LOL   TooCas
