Your Opinion Is Welcome - TOPIC : Schooling and childhood education
Sorry, I stole Hempcamp's formats. Everytime education comes up I tend to agree with him almost spot on. Which mode do YOU think is better for your kids --Public School What mode of education did YOU go through --Public School What do you LIKE about the american school system (only...- tommyatkins

UC Berkeley / Berkeley mini-meet
Oh, Neil (and anyone else who is curious), as I told Alex in a PM, I may not be able to make it if I end up having to sign my lease that day (the management co. is in Albany). However, I'd like to swing by, meet some Head-Fiers and let you listen to my K340.- tommyatkins

UC Berkeley / Berkeley mini-meet
If I'm not signing my lease I have a card table I can bring, along with powerstrips etc. But I'd need someone to give me a lift to haul it to the other side of campus. Even if I can't make it and you guys are hard up for tables, we can make arrangments for someone to pick it up. Sam- tommyatkins

Slideshow software (windows)
Personally, I do not like the automated slideshows. Some pictures require less than 5 seconds (or whatever you set automation on) and with a lot of pictures this can really make the event a long one. Other pictures require the telling of a story. I use iTunes to play music in the background...- tommyatkins

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
I know nothing about this watch except that I had it shipped from Bulgaria after purchasing it off of eBay. Unfortunately I was walking to my car and a friend shoved me. I yanked my hand out of my pocket but I was holding my keys. The keys caught on my pocket and emptied everything out. I had...- tommyatkins

UC Berkeley / Berkeley mini-meet
I can make it if the meet's on May 22. I will make it if a Corda PreHead shows up or anyone wants to hear something I have. The only uniqueish bits I have are AKG K340 cans, XM Radio and a theremin - though I do have a few lower end cans that a newbie might want to hear. If I need to be...- tommyatkins

Delphi Roady & XM Satellite Radio Mini Review/Impressions (Tuberoller encouraged)
Quote: I love XM radio and really like being able to request music and have it played. Some of the personalities are celebrities and artists themselves and are a real wealth of knowledge. Good point Tuberoller. The DJs are very good, and usually have some experience in the business...- tommyatkins

PX-100 and windnoise?
I definately get this with the PX200s, I don't think it is an issue of open vs closed, but in the pads. Headphones with large foam covering the entire driver cuts down on the wind noise - just as mics have windscreens of similar material. (for example, my Koss KSC-35 never have this problem) But...- tommyatkins

Delphi Roady & XM Satellite Radio Mini Review/Impressions (Tuberoller encouraged)
First, this post is prompted by Tuberoller's demand for reviews (so that booger picker better like it ). There hasn't been much review of XM Satellite radio, and very little discussion of the Delphi Roady receiver. (If I remember from when the search function last worked). Warning: I use too...- tommyatkins
