Imho, HDMI is a recipe with too many cooks (unstable, poor interoperability esp mixing older & newer devices) Use an HDMI audio extractor with USB UAC2 PCM or AES or coaxial S/PDIF audio output and feed that into a DAC (Mimir / Gungnir 2 / Yggdrasil+)

For the existing Unison USB input using Type B connector, try a standard off-the-shelf USB2.0-rated cable with thick (low AWG number, #20 or #22 if possible) power conductors before spending more. IMHO no need for 6N copper or soild silver conductors here. Also, there might be a new Unison 384...
