[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

Quote: That means the seller removed them from the package. The MH1c comes in a plastic bag and within the plastic bag is another small one housing the 3 sets of tips, XS, S, L, with M already on the IEM itself and there's also a shirt clip in that small baggie. Since he didn't mention it...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

Quote: I actually have it over 100%, since i'm also using Voodoo Sound to boost the volume. With other IEMs I set the Voodoo Sound to +1.5db and 50-60% volume. With this IEM I have my phone at 90% volume and +3.0db. Really unfortunate that I haven't read anything about that before. It's...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

Quote: Do they really need more "juice"? I think they have just low volumes. Or they need as much juice as full sized headphones...which is/would be kinda ridiculous. I never had any other IEMs that would need me to turn the volume all the way up, only for headphones without the use of an...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

Received mine today. Really like it, especially the bass. Soundstage is a bit small, maybe it will be improved with burn-in? Who knows. But what the hell is up with the volume of these? I have to turn the volume all the way up. With my other IEMs it's usually just half way, about 50-60% of the...

[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret

Quote: Hi,   How would these compare to the GR06? It's one of the IEMs i'm using right now. I haven't bought a IEM in a whopping......5 months! So I thought I might buy these MH1Cs to try out. Currently also looking at the VSonic VC-02, which are also supposedly to be great IEMs...

    VSONIC VC02 Thread

Quote: Yep, it works with items that are not on sale. At first I put the VC02, doesn't work, then I tried the GR07 MKII, doesn't work and just tried the Sunrise Xscape IE and those worked. Too bad, but SGD$35 is already a great price.

    VSONIC VC02 Thread

Quote: Doesn't seem to work, not even with more expensive products. Maybe someone else can try it out without confirming the order.   Anyone know how Lendmeurears send their stuff in regards to customs declaration; value/gift? It's the end of the year, holiday season, import taxes are...

I agree with everything you said about the Soundmagic ES18. They are really awesome, they are really, really cheap too. I got them for free, that's even better :) The SQ is really great, they don't do anything wrong, good bass, good soundstage, good treble, good mids. I have no problem...

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

Quote: NO?! :(   What do you think of the CAL! and ZX700 compared to the HTF600. I guess you will always need to make a trade off and not supposed to expect a 100% improvement in all aspects.

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

Quote: Thanks. Hmmm....doesn't seem worth the money, I guess, since it's €40 vs. €170. Joker, do you know a headphone which will be a worthwile upgrade to the HTF600? I mean, with similar sound signature. for around the same price as the M50.

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

Hi Joker,   I bought the Panasonics HTF-600 after reading your review and other threads here on head-fi. It's a really great headphone with strong bass and still have great clarity and good soundstage. If I were to buy the ath-m50, would that be a worthwile upgrade? It's 4 times the price of...

    The JVC HA-S500 thread.

Quote:   Except the soundstage, they sound good. Well, they are closed headphones, right? So it makes sense they can't beat the HTF-600 in that department, but if the bass and clarity is better than that's already amazing. I'll keep researching the different headphones, but I definitely...

    The JVC HA-S500 thread.

Quote:   I see, but do these JVC's still have a good soundstage (even though they are smaller than the HTF-600's) or are they intimate, in your head?   And these have better clarity than the Pana's?   I actually just got the Pana's, less than a week, but i'm already researching...

    The JVC HA-S500 thread.

I got the Panasonic HTF-600 thanks to DSnuts' thread about them. They are really great headphones with amazing sound and they were quite cheap.  Looking at Ebay prices, these are actually more expensive than the Panasonics, so I wonder how these compares to them, lows, mids, highs, soundstage?
