First up is my pair of Sennheiser HD660s. I have had these for about 3-4 months now and bought them like new from Adorama. They are in good condition and don't have any scratches or dents. The earpads also still have lots of life in them, they just need to be lint rolled often since they are...- TheLeggo

2015 Denver CO summer meet 6/27
That would be awesome to be able to compare a ZMF V2, Mad Dog Pro, and Alpha Primes. Now, if we could only get some Vibro's or Blackwoods we could have a full fostex mod shootout!- TheLeggo

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
I had the T90 and He400i for about a week, and while I agree the T90 is technically a better can, I just hate it. It sounded so sterile and artificial with its treble spike in the 8-10KHz range, which sounds good for female vocals and classical strings. Otherwise, I totally preferred the lush...- TheLeggo

Keep HD650 or HD700
If you think the HD650 sound "muddy" you will always probably think that. The headphone overall is a dark, treble rolled off headphone. Also, both headphones supposedly scale really well. I have only owned the HD650 and tried it with the E17, Little Dot MK III, Aune T1, so I can't comment on the...- TheLeggo

Help please! Super small head/ears... Sennheiser Momentums? tried V-MODA XS no luck
I only heard the T51P and DT1350 at a canjam, so I don't really know details. Sadly, I owned the amperiors quite a while ago and only had them work around 2 weeks before deciding on ears don't work for me since I wear my glasses most of the time. Personally, over ears are the only thing that...- TheLeggo

Help please! Super small head/ears... Sennheiser Momentums? tried V-MODA XS no luck
As someone also with a smallish head and glasses, I would suggest the Sennheiser Amperior. A great sturdy can for portability, with a very energetic sound signature. The clamp may be a little bit high, as I could only wear them for an hour or two, with glasses on, before having to give my ears a...- TheLeggo

New to the audio game, what headphones for under $200 for movies mainly and gaming second?
The dt990 pro would be okay out of your xonar dg, but you still may want to upgrade your amp later down the line. One thing to keep in mind, the DT990 does have recessed mids, so voices are distant and in general do not sound natural. The bass definitely helps with explosions in games and...- TheLeggo

Sennheiser 558, akg 550-701, v-moda 100, beyerdynamic dt880pro-dt990pro headphones
If I remember correctly the 558 have more midbass than the K550. The K550 is a lean headphone, but it may not be exciting enough for games. Also, the 558 was better for gaming for me, I normally play Counter strike so positional cues were important, and I am pretty sure they are cheaper.- TheLeggo

What is the best/hottest deal you ever got on headphones?
Aune T1 for $120, or a pair of AKG K550's for 140 about a year and a half ago when they were newer cans.- TheLeggo

Help with 1st quality sound headphones
Well the M50 isn't the most portable due to an extra long cable. Closed headphones are in general not the best for FPS gaming if that's what you will be doing. check this thread for more guidance, because there is no swiss army knife of headphones...- TheLeggo

Help with 1st quality sound headphones
The M50 has better bass than the CAL!, but you will shell out about 40 dollars more for it. Considering they are your first dive into the world of headphones you wouldn't go wrong with either. It's a slippery slope for your wallet though my friend =p- TheLeggo
