Been using NePLAYER with the Shure se846s and I dunno what it is but detail retrieval is redicilous. Took the 8s to a whole new level.

I've been using the NePLAYER app on iOS to play Hi-Res media, and this app surpasses every other player I've heard to date in terms of clarity and overall quality, even for AAC files. Took my 8s to a whole new level.

Does either the iBasso DX90 or Leckerton UHA-6S.MKII sound significantly better than the iPhone 6 plus with the 8s ? I'm not pleased with the sound of the iPhone. Looking for dap/dac amp that is zero hiss and an absolute day and night improvement to the iPhone.

I am selling my Shure se846 (Bronze, bought Feb. 2016), including Ted's T2 Copper cable. I developed an ear condition that I cannot use headphones/iems anymore :( PM me if interested. Sorry for posting in this thread.

Finally got my sensaphonics custom sleeves for Shure se846. Nothing comes close to the fit of these. They just fit perfectly. There's an intimacy factor (sound wise) that I couldn't get with any other tips, not to mention the excellent isolation and comfort. Well done Sensaphonics, and thanks...

Been using the T2 copper litz cable from Ted Allen. It is fantastic, craftsmanship at it's best! It did improve the sound in all aspects and it's very comfy. Aesthetically I love the new silver-looking mmcx barrels. Still waiting for the custom ear sleeves from sensaphonics.
