Thanks a lot for that insight my man! I do think tips play a huge role as like you mentioned, sennheisers with stock tips provide too sharp a treble! I would definitely want to go up the IEM scale but I am a little reluctant to pay too much :/ If you don't mind, can you please let me know...

Hey! Thread has been uploaded with close ups! Yes.. I did get them directly from an authorised Sennheiser Service Centre here in my city. 

Hey guys! So long story short...I had problems with my IE 80s for which Sennheiser sincerely replaced them! Kudos for their service! But, After about a month I noticed that the letter "L" on my left ear bud has been erased into kind of an "I", so I went ahead and checked the sennheiser's page...

We'll one thing I can assure you is that "old android" wouldn't be a problem... It's keeps getting updated like any other device... And as for RAM you should be fine if you are planning on using the device only for Music and not an iPod Touch like playing games on the device...

What do think about the sound quality of the two... Although I do know that you mentioned that your iBasso DX80s were defective... I just wanted to know your opinion... :)

I know there are a lot of reviews about the sound quality of the Fiio X7s but not from a previous iBasso user... So I would love to get your opinion on the difference in sound quality! Thanks a lot for helping out the thread!

Hmm... Now that's interesting... Unfortunately I can't really test any of the hifi audio equipment as there not many retailers selling them here in my country... So it's really hard to make choice! I have been waiting to see when and how I can get a listen on these devices and buy the one that...

Thanks for your recommendation! But we'll see the problem is that the set up you are talking about becomes too bulky to be portable... A DAP makes it a lot easier to carry the set up in a smaller form.. Anyway have you compared your set up to something like the iBasso DX80 or the Fiio X7?
