i have currently the shure se535 from a friend, and ive tried all sorts of tips. the foams are okay, the way u keep squishing it then it expand, but it get annoying. the one problem withthe shures are, it feels like its falling out of my gear, even though i seriously lodge it in there. and...

it really is. but i mean over time it does get managable. :D

i dunno about portablility but these headphones are powerful! i think the only portable amp i can think of is the sr71b, whats ur budget?

yea in my opinion, i have tried the k702 and the q701, and i would just get the q701. the only problem with mine are the ridges that are on the headband. if your not used to them, they create little hills (bumps) on the top of your head. you can always do a mod. XD
