LCD 2 Classic vs HD 650
Do you use eq for LCD 2c? I read somewhere that while it responds to eq very well, it does not do highs too good if tuned to a bright setting.- Swansboy

LCD 2 Classic vs HD 650
Thanks for such a detailed answer. I wish I could buy both, unfortunately there are budget constraints. I considered HD 600 as well, but it is very costly where I live. I guess LCD 2c would be the way to go. Yes, the price is very high for a used pair - I guess it is because used LCDs are so...- Swansboy

LCD 2 Classic vs HD 650
Hi folks, I am planning to buy a new headphone. Currently I have HD 598 (which I like very much), but the upgrade bug has bit me. I am looking at HD 650 and an used LCD 2 classic. I have a schiit stack (Magni 3 + Modi Multibit). In my part of the world, the HD 650 (new) costs $165.00. If I end...- Swansboy

Hi guys, I recently built a high end gaming PC. I initially thought Asus STX II would be a good option since it supports Dolby. On second thoughts, I choose Schiit Modi Multibit. It is connected to a Swans M50W 2.1 set up. This is my first Schiit product and I am just blown away. Of course...- Swansboy

Schiit Modi 2 Uber equalizer
Sorry for the late reply. No the mobo specifications do not mention any combo jack. I guess it must be the regular 3.5mm jack. Too bad.- Swansboy

Schiit Modi 2 Uber equalizer
Thank you for the reply. I am quite comfortable using the realtek equalizer and like the presets so was hoping if I would still make it work. My mobo does not have an optical output so I would need to connect it via Toslink to 3.5mm cable.- Swansboy

32 Headphone Brands Ranked from Worst to First
IMHO, Sony (though not a dedicated headphone companies) should have been placed higher. They do have some horrendous headphones in their line up, but they do have some very very good ones as well. I find Sony does have a taste for good sound (which is relative and may not be the same as neutral...- Swansboy

Exactly. I came across the list through a FB advertisement by Audeze. Thought the list could be a marketing ploy.- Swansboy

Fake flac identification
Yes, I meant flac that has been converted from a lossy format yet somehow the highs are not cut off (if that is possible). It seems the only way to confirm is to listen to the original track as you suggested.- Swansboy
