HD650 tires my ears out?! WHY?!
Quote: Some people say that the pico amp/dac works fine as a dac from the headphone line out. Thanks for the suggestion, and i will try it out~ but the gilmore lite definitely drives the 650 better than the pico.- stephenguoo

HD650 tires my ears out?! WHY?!
Quote: Yes I do, if you want to talk about it in Mandarin, you can email it at stephenguo@live.com If you have msn, that's my msn as well. I don' t think chatting on this thread in Mandarin is a considerate thing to do since not everybody understands it.- stephenguoo

HD650 tires my ears out?! WHY?!
Quote: Well, my extended periods are about 1 hour, which I don't think it's that long. Also, I listen to music really soft. When my friends try out my HD650, they always have to turn it up to double to volume. So I guess it's just a 650 problem? If I upgrade, the problem...- stephenguoo

HD650 tires my ears out?! WHY?!
I have one of those small bravo tube amps that are super cute in my opinion. I'm using that as a re amp for my speakers. Let me try that one to drive my hd650.- stephenguoo

Seems like other people have the same problem. This is so weird. HD650 simply tires my ears out. I didn't have the problem when i first got my k240s. And any help on the potential upgrade?- stephenguoo

HD650 tires my ears out?! WHY?!
Hi all I'm currently using the Pico amp/dac as DAC to feed my Gilmore lite. I listen with my HD650 basically all the time. But every time I listen to music, I feel my ears (not earlobes, but ear internal/ear drums) are sore after awhile, not even an hour even. Why is...- stephenguoo

Pictures of Your Portable Rig [Part XIV]
Quote: LMAO..I wish wireless can be that compact and small in the future. Should be a good concept, but I doubt that the sound quality is going to be as competitive as wired ones. Quote: Thank you~- stephenguoo
