NAD VISO HP 70
I agree the PX could be more comfortable. I think it's the weight and lack of padding on the headband. I bent the headband a little bit to the shape of my head and that made them almost perfect for me. Once in a while I still get a hotspot. Does the WH1000xM3 let you bake EQ into the headphone...- starpause

NAD VISO HP 70
Interested to her how these compare with the WH-1000MX2 I have the B&W PX right now. Love the sound quality but I keep on having buttons break =\- starpause

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Each to their own obviously. I had vmoda and byerdynamic and neither worked for me sound wise. PX hit a sweet spot... isolating enough to use outside and on the commute, flat enough to use for production (I prefer analytical to fun), styling enough that I'm ok wearing them with a blazer. On...- starpause

Did anyone else notice a difference in SQ with NC off after the update? I do feel it's different but maybe psycho (acoustic). Still my favorite ANC headphones and daily driver! Kind of killed my headphone lust :astonished:- starpause

It does not remember across devices. I actually put in a request to BEO regarding this in hopes of the feature making it to a future update. My crappy JBL Everest can store EQ... but this $500 can can't? :\- starpause

SQ is subjective. Get 'em on your head and see how they compare... Having tried the 1000XM2 and PX, it's a world of difference (and the price is only $50 different). Even with ANC on PX is a great experience. The sound stage still bests 1000XM2.Sub bass and bass articulation are still better on...- starpause

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
TMA2 is a really difficult headphone to compare with anything else because there are so many possible combinations of driver and earpads. After trying everything (well, anything that made sense to me) out, I'm really happy with the S02E06 combination. Poor isolation but love the sound stage and...- starpause

I guess that's why it is the way it is... the test group/designers must have had no issue with the padding. Everyone's heads are different. For me, my gf, a few other people on this thread... the PX headband quickly creates a hotspot. I agree the earpads on PX are great. Impressive passive...- starpause

The metal headband is a definite improvement on the XM2, hadn't noticed any issues with the plastic ear cups but haven't had them in heavy user either (hard to give them much love with PX around ;) When you say comfortably... do you mean physically? Because I haven't found that to be the case...- starpause

Any advice/tips for dealing with hotspot? Shame these have such a painful, tiny headband when the P7 and P9 are nice and wide with plenty of coverage. Was browsing headband sleeves on Amazon, may give one of those a go...- starpause

TMA-2 Configuration Advice Wanted
I don't know if you ever sprung for these, but my advice would be S02E06. Amazing combination with the best sound stage of any TMA2 configuration. Yes I got everything and tried them all out like a crazy person Thank god for their 30 day return policy but hey that's exactly what it's for, on...- starpause

Yes, this I totally get. I got the most use out of them on 12+ hour flights where the sound was never fatiguing... but that hotspot was! Same problem on the PX, commented over in that thread... I'm starting to get the feeling that luxury headphone manufacturers care more about how the object...- starpause

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Re: Neck wear, my GF pointed out I was doing it wrong and to fold the cups inward so that the speakers rest against your chest. Not how they fall naturally, speakers up, which I'd say is a design flaw but I also recognise the physics of metal earcups being heavier than earpads... maybe could...- starpause

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
BT: I've got my PX paired with my macbook and android phone at the same time. Works well, nice to have a multipoint capable alternative to QC35. ANC: I've been leaving it off, not necessary for office use. But nice that it's there for travel. The passive isolation is good enough with these that...- starpause

Yeah, I found them surprisingly leaky for an ANC HP... Could hear sound coming out when they were on my GF head. Guess they're good for keeping sound out but not sound in? Or we were listening too loud...- starpause
