    What if you could only have one headphone....or two. What would you choose?

    Tascam TH-MX2/Prodipe 3000 closed headphones, as they have a nice warm and neutral sound with quite good sub bass.  I wrote a review about them here on headfi.   Portables:  Philips FX5m closed headphone, they have a fun bassy sound signature with clear highs.

    Sorry I have not heard the ath m50 and I don't have anyone around to hear how leaky they sound.  Yeah Philips have upped their game, having brought out the x1 in 2012 and then the x2 and the a5 in 2014, all flagship headphones.
