Anybody?

I'd like to use my headphones with my PC and TV/receiver. I'm thinking about buying a cheap 2-port audio switcher but will I lose any quality by doing this? Are there any "high end" ones available? Also, I'll probably eventually add a small headphone amp on the output of the switcher...

Thanks everybody! I guess voltage is so difficult to understand because it's not something physical like current. I've heard voltage being compared to engine torque (meaning that torque isn't a physical thing either, it's more of an idea or concept)

Oh, really? That's interesting... It seems to be extremely difficult to find gold plated 3.5mm female jacks and gold switches (eg. rotary or 3+ position switches)
