Focal Elegia - what do you think?

I actually have not... so far trying to base on reviews and forums. I did listen to an elear this afternoon but also wondering whether it's accurate enough to extrapolate that aural info to what an elegy might sound like. my main beef with the 1990 is I wanted something with just abit more...

Argh just fighting so hard with myself deciding if I should get this too to complement my 1990s. trying to find enough differences to justify it.

    Headphone to complement DT 1990

Perhaps barring slight differences it’d be quite similar in character? maybe something warmer? Richer vocals/mids?

    Headphone to complement DT 1990

main genres: jazz, blues, country, ccm wanted something to offer a different flavour to my dt 1990. perhaps a deeper bass but not slamming, richer vocals, not as aggressive.

good qs, also using with an interface which has pretty good headphone out just wondering if an external headphone amp would help. Dac wise I think most interfaces have decent converters.
