Audio Newbie In Need of 2.1 Speakers

I need something under $250, preferably around $200. I basically have this set-up, except the desktop is under the desk, and the monitor is twice as wide. I'd like something that is clean, square, and will blend in. My computer has blue, black, green, and beige ports, I'm assuming...

What does it take to have a reliable pair of IEM? Somthing that lasts over 6 months.

I keep them in a pouch in my backpack, nothing that should cause critical failure like that. The quality control is weak with this company, Right at the split, it loses connection. If the cable of the dead bud is bent to the side on the two wire side, sound returns.   I'm just sick of...

What does it take to have a reliable pair of IEM? Somthing that lasts over 6 months.

I've had 3 pairs of MEElectronics M6s die on the left side. I'm tired of fighting warranties and dealers. Should I get Monster Turbines or something? (srs)   Anything out there that doesn't lose sound quality in a few months, and die in a couple more?

Jogging Headphones <$60... yeay or nay?

I've searched through, and read many past threads, but need some specified advice.   I have a set of MEelectric M6s which I like, but they have an unfortunate defect, and one side is underpowerd. Time to get a new set.   I'm thinking of getting SoundMagic PL30s, but I like that warp over...

iPod Classic Died, Wut Do Head-Fi, Wut do?

Quote:   I'm not a big fan of any kind of IEM in terms of ear damaging effects. I've spent time late at night listening to music with pure silence around me....And I'd only need my volume 2/5 to 1/2 of the way up to hear everything loud and clear. When I'm jogging, walking, lifting, or on...

iPod Classic Died, Wut Do Head-Fi, Wut do?

Huh, so some headphones need much more wattage to put out a certain level of decibels?   I have some of those MEelectronics M6 earbuds. Plenty powerful in conjunction with a Classic. I got them mostly for jogging and working out. But I'll be getting something less ear damaging, hopefully...

iPod Classic Died, Wut Do Head-Fi, Wut do?

As the title says, my Gen. 6 iPod Classic died. Now I'm left to scour for a new player. Should I go for a new iPod Classic?   -I dislike touchscreen stuff -I have at least 80GB in Lossless music, so capacity has to be large -Ease of navigation -Comparable battery life -Durable  ...

Rate my next planned purchases: Decent/Cheap Canal Headphones

Quote: I have a friend who works at Future shop, so he'd be able to pick them up for roughly half price ~$100. Otherwise, is there something I should opt for instead? Thanks for the help.   I like turtles.

Rate my next planned purchases: Decent/Cheap Canal Headphones

Hi Everybody,   Just wanted to bet some help from people who know their stuff. :)   A little bit about me; I'm a University student. I'm bearably good at guitar, and have an overall love of music. I enjoy just about anything, other than hip hop and country. My tastes range from GNR to...
