SE215
Good bass, excellent mids, and decent treble, with a very nice sound stage and a sonic signature that really doesn't do anything glaringly wrong. Couple that with a 2 year warranty, replaceable cables, great fit kit, a nice carrying case, excellent isolation, decent comfort, and ease of availability through local stores as well as online and you have a winner. MSRP = $99 but have been seen online for $69 from Musicians Friend if I remember correctly. BTW I paid $99 and feel they were worth the full MSRP.
At $50 price point I would say the Brainwavz M2 are pretty darn nice, not as nice as the SE215 but then again at 1/2 the cost I wouldn't expect them to be.

Dbi Pro 700 and 705 and the JVC HA-S700 are at the top of my lists
