Well, I got home from my gig tonight and took a listen to see if anything has changed over the last 8 hours or so... It's pretty wild to hear how this is evolving! The sound has filled out dramatically, bass has gotten noticeably deeper, and there even seems to be more on the high end as well...- Sideman7

Mine just showed up today. Wow it's small. I've seen the photos, but it doesn't really sink in until it's in front of you! I gave it a quick go, and so far, the sound is murky at best (it's noticeably muddier than the hp jack alone) , I guess it really needs to be burned in first. The...- Sideman7

If I buy Westone 3s for use with my iPod, will I need an amp?
The Westone 3's sound better than any other headphone I have used with my iPod, but I know it HAS to sound better with an amp (and I have a Mustang on order). The poor, gutless onboard amp starts to lose it at little over 60% volume. I can hear the sound start to "fall apart". Even my noisy...- Sideman7
