    ATH-AD700 successor/alternative?

I read here that the X have worse pads and are worse for gaming (both things are really value). So, it's an option, but I'm not sure the best one for me.

    ATH-AD700 successor/alternative?

I've searched around but couldn't find info on this particular model (although it's commonly praised). I love my set, but I've lost them moving apartments. Being discontinued, what would be the closest model (by AT or otherwise) to match their sound and wearing comfort? Similar price range...

Looking for service manual / schematics for Moon i-3 Amp

I've searched Google to the best of my abilities and found only the user manual. I'm looking for more info so I can work on it properly. Does anyone have an idea where I might obtain such papers or if these papers even exist? Thanks for any help

Looking for an alternative to the Yuin PK2's with BT capability

Sound-wise, the PK2's have been a favorite of mine: I love neutral, mids-rich sound. They serve me well being earbuds, as I mostly use them while riding bicycles and need to keep track of traffic. However, I go through about 2 pairs a year due to the active use, and I figure I should switch to...

    Help! Amplifier Overheat!

Hello all, I hope this is the right place to post this. I own a rather old Moon i-5080 (http://www.simaudio.com/mooni5080.htm) AMP that's connected to my computer. Its power comes through a Newstar NF-500 AC to AC converter...

    Looking for IEM advice

OK, I was ready to spend a little more, they are both about half the price I'm willing to pay. It seems like earbuds aren't appreciated much but I'm using them outdoors and need to hear people talk / cars narrowly missing my bike in the street... I ordered the Yuin PK2 and the Cresyn C750E...

    Looking for IEM advice

Budget: ~150$ Type: Earbuds (shallow insertion, no seal) Genre: Electronic (Infected Mushroom, Shpongle) Sound quality: rich mids, soft highs and moderate bass, clean sound (Audio Techniqua AD700 style, although a little more dynamic boost wouldn't hurt) From some research, it looks like...

    Psy-music headphones: IEM's vs. Full @ $400

AtmokPi: I appreciate your response but I'm not sure it answered my q here: does the amp effect volume (quantity) or depth (quality)? On your word I will go for this Asus card, this seems most fundamental, regardless of gear. Also I will try the Dennon 5K, thank you people. Amazon has this...

    Psy-music headphones: IEM's vs. Full @ $400

These feedbacks are great, thanks everybody. I've been debating the necessity of an actual sound card for my full-ear phones, used on my PC. Is it actually that crucial, regardless of the phone? Do I need to invest a lot in it? I just have the standard on-board soundcard. Additionally, I...

    Psy-music headphones: IEM's vs. Full @ $400

either IEM or full-ear. As I said, my current IEM is cheap generic stuff and needs the upgrade more, but for a highly recommended full-ear (vs. my bose) I might go for that. I listen to music either through my i-pod (outdoors) or my computer with my bose (indoor).

    Psy-music headphones: IEM's vs. Full @ $400

Hi all. I'm interested in upgrading my gear in either field with a pretty competent budget. I already have indoor bose QC 3 (hold the tomatos please) and outdoor crappy ipod IEMs. I listen primarily to psy music, chillout and trance. I like a full-range, thick middle sound, not just highs...
