Official Goldring DR150 Impressions Thread
I just ordered the DR150's from Jaben Australia's website for $50AUD (free shipping within Aus). So if there's anyone still looking for these cans, jump over there and snap them up while they're still available! http://www.jaben.com.au/collections/specials/products/gol-dr150 Also of...- rundllexe

VSonic GR-07 Recable
I'm also interested in getting my Vsonic GR07 recabled as there appears to be a break in the cable in or around the strain relief on the headphone plug end :( Got some Rockit R-50's today from Noisy Motel which are fantastic but my GR07's will always have a special place in my heart :p- rundllexe

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!
Hey DefQon, not sure why they are that bad for you? Did you try EQ'ing similar to my settings, original sound was pure mud but EQ'ing controlled the midbass a lot better. I've since tested them on some fuzz rock and well, yeah they sucked pretty bad, I lost all definition of the low tuned...- rundllexe

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!
Yeah I think the Velour pads will work a lot better than the pleather, it's a shame they didn't include them in the Digitech version from Jaycar, not that I can complain getting them @ $70 rather than ~$180 for the official Fischer ones. I've set up the existing mesh underneath the thin...- rundllexe

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!
So I've played around with them a bit more and ended up adding the foam mesh back on the driver - I find it helps keep the mid bass a little less busy. I also tweaked my EQ a bit more and I think I've got it at about 90% of what the sound used to be, considering the extra comfort this is...- rundllexe

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!
Just put my spare pleather pads from my FA-003 (Digitech rebadge) and comfort is heaps better, unfortunately it has also made the cans sound a lot muddier and congested - mid bass seems to take over - seems to be due to the pads providing a better seal, whereas the cloth pads allowed the drivers...- rundllexe

Review: GoVibe Mini Box Amp
Quote: Hey mate, I can confirm that there is a slight buzz in the line whilst the source is inactive - but I as soon as music is playing I cannot detect anything. Have you tried it with another source?- rundllexe

Essence STX + Fischer Audio FA-003/FA-011 Help.
Quote: Hey mate, sorry for the late reply - I received my Fischer FA-011's at the end of last week and have been using them solely on my Xonar ST. I'm really happy with the sound I'm getting from these cans and it appears that my sound card can drive them quite easily on the 64-300ohm...- rundllexe

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
Quote: This could also be the reason, as these are the first headphones I've used foam tips with - and have never really been that sensitive to sibilance before. I calculated just earlier that I've probably clocked about 130hrs on these so far, so not sure if further burn in will help...- rundllexe

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
I've had my GR07's since December of last year and have loved every single thing about them, I paired them with the included foam tips right from the start and never really thought much about the sibilance that other people have mentioned so many times, that is until my foam tips became unstuck...- rundllexe

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!
Quote: Hey Cajunky, thanks for that, do your ears touch the plastic inside? Did it change the sound characteristics at all? I might give it a go if stuffing the pads fails :) Gonna give the cans a good stretching session over some PC game cases I think :) EDIT: Gave...- rundllexe

REVIEW: Fischer Audio FA-011 - OFF THE DEEP END!!
Quick update, these cans are not comfortable at all, fabric pads are quite hard, clamping force is quite hard, cups are very shallow - for my medium /average size ears they will fit in the circumference ok but touch the inner foam :(. This is ok in short listening periods but becomes painful and...- rundllexe
