I'm thinking about getting a pair of omega2 sooner or later(with Blue Hawaii.). SO, What are the flaws of omega?(ex. flat soundstage, bass shortage...etc.)

Like many other cans, I think, SA5000 can be recabled.(of course, since they're wired by auto soldering process.) If these cans can be dissembled and recabled neatly, I'll not hesitate to buy one for my joy. But I cannot find any points to dissemble them. Is there anyone who have found...

Blue Hawaii,by Kevin Gilmore,needs 2sa1967 or 2sa1968. But they are so rare transistors that I think I cannot get them here. How can I get them?or How did you get them? International shipping malls are highly-desired.

Now I'm using BC's Box caps for C2,C3,C5 on tangent's PPA Board. Changing that bypassing capacitors to expensive caps like Moondorf Mcap(I love it )or Musicap or Relcap in PPA can be a nice choice? There's no need to worry about their size.

I want to tune my Bass Boost, so i need your capacity recommendation. Please do not say that only experiments will do. Beside, using nice film capacitor for them(Moondorf, musicap, RTX multicap..) can be a good choice?

I think panasonic CT-SL570 is one of the best choice. If you don't use Line-out jack, sony D-ej915(990) can be a nice choice,too. There's many good rigs in old-fashioned sony PCDP(except their Shock Protection is SUCK) ...Of course, there can be other good choices.

Since i use portable amp+ER4s, i need a line-out jack on my 4gen Ipod. 1.With a line out jack, BTW, will it have much better sound quallity? 2. and next, between PocketDock+Nice cable(like Ted'sEarcandy) or SikDin+nice cable?

I've used DD9 for my main rig.I've used DD9 with Cheap TEAC tape deck. but it doesn't work any more for entire broken. so I need a new rig to replace it. I heard that D6c has the marvelous recording mechanism. and I have a chance to get it. i doubt the D6c alone has the equal sound...
