Mine are the solid non-fenestratef since I wanted to get as close to stock as possible. Audeze was out of theirs with no idea when they would get more so I got the Dekoni. They’re noticeably thicker in the back than stock but they sound great. I actually prefer the XC to the X now.

Broken record time for me here but if you'll read some of my previous posts I am completely smitten with the combo of the X with the iFi Micro Black Label. I keep the bass boost off and the 3D on. I also listen thru Roon which has the Reveal built-in and it does make a difference.

The Arya is known to be a bit hot in the upper registers. Add to that the better bass & build quality and the X wins out IMHO.

The X is almost, but not quite, as detailed as the Clear without the extra sizzle up top and much more bass. Not sloppy, overdone bass.

Haven’t downloaded the plug-in because I use the Audeze feature that comes with Roon. Works great for both of LCDs.
