Ref price of AK120: I bought mine from Audio Affair couple of weeks back for £1026, delivered.   Regarding synergy with Ed8's - They pair very well, but was a bit lacking on bass for my liking.

Upgraded firmware and there is definitely a noticeable lack of body on my TH 900's. it's like the EQ at 600Hz downwards is damped.
