Introducing Hapa Audio's Top Of The Line KnØt IEM and Full Size Headphone Cable

It's been a while since I've posted... I've just been too busy... But nonetheless, I still had to take a quick shot of the KnØt IEM cable! Now, I still have them burning in, so sound impressions will come at a later date. I just really have to applaud Hapa Audio... These are a work of ART...

    SONY IER-Z1R

Never had that problem either. That’s considering I used to rotate my IEMs quite often. So the Z1R plug was always in and out and even when I used to test a lot of different sources with different adapters.

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

EVO owners, give this track a go. The rumbling is already pretty insane with the Fourté and the SK. I can’t wait to try it out on the EVO soon.

    Precog's IEM Reviews & Impressions

What’s your speaker setup? Even though I love speakers as well. The time and effort just to make sure the room is well suited for the speakers is a lot of work. Headphones and IEMs eliminates that aspect and it’s an easier and more “affordable” solution for music pleasure.

    SONY IER-Z1R

I know that this is the IER-Z1R thread, but It's actually nice to see someone that owns both the MDR-Z1R and the HD820. Those two to me, are some of the best closed-back cans I've heard. The MDR-Z1R has that fun tonality I enjoy for the more energetic genres and the HD820 being quite the...

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements

Oh that’s what you meant! If you already have a Dave I don’t think you’d need an amp with it for the Stealth though. I thought the discussion was about which to get that could provide more power. I might be able to test out the DAVE with the Stealth on Tuesday when I visit the shop.

The TT2 does provide more power than the DAVE even in unbalanced. TT2 can output 288mW at 300ohm while the DAVE outputs 154mW at 300ohm. When you go for the TT2’s balanced output it can go to 1.15W at 300ohm.

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements

Don’t say that… now I really gotta get it 🤣 So I’m guessing the TT2+Stealth combo is what’s making you say that? I loved the Senny HE-1 that gave me weird feelings and I pretty much teared up 😂 But yeah, it wasn’t until I heard the Stealth that I got excited about headphones once again.

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements

I’m familiar with that, as I have also come across a few IEMs that definitely love more power, but yeah, this is how I usually test out headphones for my first listen, if I don’t like how it sounds with transportable gear, unfortunately it ain’t for me (saves me quite a bit of money 😂) but of...

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements

I’ll definitely try it on “higher” powered sources next time but man, how “loud” do you guys listen to? On the Topaz I was on high gain and set the volume at around 10 o’clock and that was more than sufficient. I’m not saying that it won’t scale up with better gear but for me, the performance it...
