I would get the Sansa Fuze+ or a Sony. I resently bought the Clip+ but the screen/interface is too small, so rather would have the Fuze+ instead for sure. The sound should be the same, the sound is OK to me but quite a bit colder than my Sony so i only enjoy the clip+ with warm sounding...

Sennheiser IE6 might be something for you to look at.

You can buy the comply's, they will compress.

I don't think it's a improvement. Looks low quality too, which is not very surprising at 20$. To be honest, it wouldn't use this body, if doing it at all.

I think the bass is easing a bit with burning in. Depends on the source (bass boost?), tips and fit too, but highest setting will give you a lot of bass, can't imagine it's insufficient for you.

Maybe it's interesting as well to know how the HF5 compares to the re0?

How does these compare to the Philips SHE9850? Will the Shure olives fit the HF5?
