Have they changed the materials they use in making the sr80s lately? I just got a pair of sr80s and the sound is excellent but I was slightly disappointed with the build quality. The plastic feels/looks cheap and has visible flaws in it. I can't imagine that mine would last long if I slept...

I would definitely consider the px100s for portable use, however, do they really compare with $100 headphones like the grado sr60/80, or senn HD-555??

Is this place an authorized Grado dealer? A $55 pair of Grado sr60s is great so long as you still get the Grado warranty.
