Which (stock) on-ear earpad type do you prefer?

This poll focuses on stock earpad styles, so I didn’t include options like velour, as I don’t believe any on-ear headphones come with those by default. Also, please keep in mind that this poll is about on-ear headphones - not over-ear ones. Thanks!

[SOLVED] Lightweight wireless on-ear headphones with simple flat earpads?

Before buying the PX100, I compared it with the Porta Pro and found the Sennheiser more comfortable. With that in mind, repairing it seems like the better option. As for clip-ons, if you mean the Koss KSC75, I have a pair somewhere, but I don’t use them because they hurt my ears. I tried...

[SOLVED] Lightweight wireless on-ear headphones with simple flat earpads?

The Creative Sound Blaster Jam V2 is the closest match, but I’m on my third pair and unimpressed with their longevity. Most on-ear headphones today seem to use pleather earpads, which I find far less comfortable than simple flat foam pads. I still gave this design a chance and recently...

This is good to know, thanks. Maybe consider adding a 3.5mm headphone jack to the BR13 successor model, if one is planned...

    [FIIO BR13] Hi-Res Bluetooth Receiver-fiber-optic/coaxial BYPASS function,connect two transmitters,global upsampling up to 96K 24BIT,7 EQ + 2 custom PEQ,7 Bluetooth codecs including LDAC

If I use such an adapter, will I be able to use my headphones (DT990 Pro, 250 ohms) attached to the BR13 without an additional amplifier? Can the volume be adjusted in this configuration?

    Semi-permanent BT receiver/amp: BTR15 vs no-name desktop solutions

I plan to use my DT990 Pro headphones in the living room attached to a BT receiver/amp, with an AV receiver BT as source. I intend to use it both for listening to music and TV. So far it seems that the only solution that doesn't go much above my $100 budget is the FiiO BTR15. It does what I want...

[FiiO BTR15/BTR5 2021/BTR5]Bluetooth DAC and Headphone Amplifier Discussion & Impressions Thread

Can the BTR15 be used as a BT receiver and headphone amplifier when connected (semi-permanently) to an AC adapter?

[FIIO BT11] Portable High-Res Bluetooth Transmitter Is Officially Released!

My phone already supports LDAC. It would be much more interesting if FiiO released something similar that can be connected to an AV receiver HDMI out.

aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters

Good point. I forgot to mention this. In any case, I just ordered the BTA30 Pro. I hope I'll get what I pay for 🙂

aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters

It looks nice and costs a fraction of the FiiO, but unfortunately no LDAC support. Is there anything between the two that does support LDAC?

aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless USB Transmitters

Can the KB9P AUX input be used with a digital stream from an AV receiver's coax output or an HDMI extractor? If so, does the dongle need to be connected to a PC, or can it be powered by a USB charger alone? I'm looking for a way to transmit Bluetooth from my AV receiver without investing in a...

    Radsone EarStudio ES100

Does the ES100 require device drivers or some special configuration to use on a Windows machine 10 as a USB sound card? I don't see it in the Device Manager when I connect it.

    EarStudio ES100MK2 is now available

@radsone - did you fix the Sudden Death Syndrome with the MkII? I have the original version with this issue and it can't even serve as a paper weight (too light for that).
