Almost done. Pretty entertaining like a mystery novel. Shocking story for those unfamiliar with the depths of depravity of our government. This year marks the 50th anniversary since the Church Committee which was perhaps the only time the american national security state / intelligence...- Philimon

Grado Fan Club!
Possible manufacturing defect. @RichGrado ============ I know this old stuff but e-series is great value used and in some cases preferable regardless of price. I couldnt notice an obvious audible difference between 80e and 225e. They are both very good with F-pads. I assumed the 225e...- Philimon

The (Fake) Club of Low-Volume Listeners: Join Us If You Can Hear Us :)
Equal loudness contour seems to match well with my low-volume listening and headphone preferences. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal-loudness_contour For dealing with channel imbalance I am using a preamp with a relay-potentiometer. Saga2 -> Jotunheim2- Philimon

edit: for slight drunk posting I dont consider sci-fi and fantasy to be very different. The genres overlap and is often just a matter of aesthetics. I think a good example would be Shyamalan’s “The Village” (2004). The first 3/4 of the film would be considered fantasy but then the last quarter...- Philimon

Tariff Wars...
Tariffs are anti free market. Tariffs were paused but some made out like bandits. I dont want to say it was insider trading but hours prior to pausing tariffs a certain president said “buy now”.- Philimon

FiiO FT1
XL 3DP cups posted earlier sounded pretty good but the increased weight made them an instant "NO THANKS". Ill have to work on making more reasonable sized cups later but for now I reassembled them back-to-stock so can loan out the headphone for impressions. Listening to stock...- Philimon

Other half is printing (~4.5hours): (these cups could also be used as flower pots) Also remade the open grills because the pegs broke (too thin) so just printed as one piece with some slight changes:- Philimon

All good ideas and thanks. IME screws hold up well enough in 3DP filament but for longevity you can use metal screw inserts that you embed into the plastic with a soldering iron which Ive done before. Can also design around using nuts+bolts which is what I usually do for longevity. Magnets...- Philimon
