After using the dim brightness for 2 weeks, there is no SQ difference with different brightness now.

I did not hear any different when replacing the 6xx with Grado rs1 which had strong character. I guess the 6xx is more revealing. I will use the mojo2 with dim buttons for more time and see what happen. I have been using the default brightness from day 1.

I just do a a/b test but did not do a blind test. My headphone was a 6xx and it was very obvious since it is a warm headphone and very sensitive to highs changes.

I can only get back the good sound by playing the xlo burn in tone for about half an hour and then the muddy sound was reset. And everything was good again after playing music overnight.

I just got my Z5 from the black Friday sale. It had already broken in for about a week non stop with burn in tone and music. The SQ improved quite a lot from the start. I would like to know how much break in does it need to reach its full potential?   Thanks,

Thanks for the information. I had stopped the burn in tone now and feed it with music. I am no rush to contact Monster for now since the its a life time warranty. I'll burn in a bit more to see to if the sound are still changing.
