This actually sounds really good, I think I can test it out the Geekout on my S5 since at the moment it sounds like the perfect tool.Less than half the battery / storage capacities but good enough for testing I guess

Fair enough, the gear I have at the moment doesn't need much power I think (Ath-M50/Philips Fidelio S2+Uptowns/Soungmagic Hp200/Goldring GR150), so I think the Modi/Magni 2 would work great. Yea ill read up on reviews as much as I can, thanks for the advice :)

Looks like ill be investing in the Magni 2/Modi 2, I'm a first timer when it comes to Dacs/Amps so I think these would be worth starting off with.
