Shop has said 'the termination on the MSR7 is the same as the M50X so if you can get a balanced cable for that it would be the same. But it will never be a true balance because both cups need to be terminated with separate cable inputs. ' So any point in buying a nice balanced cable?

Looks like I screwed up. Well the sales guy did. Seems cant use a balanced acable with ATH-MSR7. Back to the shop they go. Frustrating. I did liek the 50s and 70s too. Maybe 70s a bit more

Ended up testing a few headphones today and ended up with ATH-MSR7. Very similar to the 70s but I kept preferring these for some reason. Go with what you like! Now to get a balanced cable!

Ah yes I thought this after I replied. Doh! Maybe a set like AKG K551 with a suitable cable then? It might be boring to rebuy my old B&O:)

Thanks for the reply. Thought as much. So i dont see much about balanced headphones around. Any suggestions for a web store link with balanced headphones as a filter so I can see what is around. I did have B&O H6 and Grado SR80s which I also loved but sold for variety of reason.
