Rank the Headphones that You Own.
1) DT770 250ohm 2) SHP9500s 3) KSC75 4) MOZero (HM5 pads) 5) Monk Lites 6) Porta Pro X 7) Takstar Pro 82 I think why the Takstars fall so short is they're not just that amp-able, my SMSL M3 I can barely turn the dial before all hell breaks loose. I realize they are not my 250ohm DTs which I...- Mr Pink57

Closed headphone with great isolation
Those would give you both the 80ohm version is kind of the sweet spot. The attached cable is kind of a bear though. Other option is the RBH H2 clone M&O Electronics bluetooth/wired version or the Urbanfun version listed on alixpress.com. The urbanfuns are probably over budget at 180 I believe...- Mr Pink57

The Mod Collective: Bring all your full sized headphone mods here.
Went removable cable and changed to Elite Velours from Dekoni on DT770s. The pads are like clouds, literal clouds. Swapped M&O pads to Monoprice pleather pads, new on left old on right. Went from two knuckle to solid three knuckle. Much more comfortable.- Mr Pink57

RBH - HP-2 ULTRALIGHT BERYLLIUM HEADPHONES
They squish pretty well, the foam bounces back much quicker than a HM5 pad, overally I'd say they are 80 to 85 percent of a HM5 but much cheaper.- Mr Pink57

RBH - HP-2 ULTRALIGHT BERYLLIUM HEADPHONES
I had a set of HM5 pads and I'd say they are about the same as their pleathers, to my ears at least. Right now they're 19.99 but I got them for a little more than $12 shipped when I ordered so a pretty good deal on sale. Heck if that sale happens again I am going to stock up on these and get...- Mr Pink57

RBH - HP-2 ULTRALIGHT BERYLLIUM HEADPHONES
Took a long time to get these pads but they were worth it so much more comfortable than the stock pads to me. These are the pads: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=34193- Mr Pink57

Are gaming headphones really just a gimmick?
On pure aesthetics I cannot stand gaming headsets. Even before I cared about audio I never really used them but did have an OG Xbox and Xbox 360 headset to chat with friends. On my PS4 I have used a Sybia Sonic with V-Moda and SHP9500s for quite a while now and I do enjoy them. I used to use...- Mr Pink57

Well as an update Monoprice has a 20% almost everything coupon and they are free shipping now so I ordered a set and will report if they fit the M&O set once the set gets here from Massdrop.- Mr Pink57

Looking for an audio setup that can help clean up audio in Black Ops 4.
I use a Sybia Sonic with some SHP9500s and it seems fine to be able to pin point enemies. Are you playing "Fortnite Style" or standard online? Standard online is touger to pin point due to the maps being so small and so many things going on at the same time. Radio comms, people talking...- Mr Pink57

RBH - HP-2 ULTRALIGHT BERYLLIUM HEADPHONES
https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=34193 Realize this is an old thread but anyone try the monoprice pads they started selling, I am guessing since they started selling their own version of brainwavz hm-5 headphones they are simple a copy of the brainwavz hm-5 pads (pleather), they also make...- Mr Pink57
