Millett Max -> Millett Mosfet Max?
Hi guys. I've been out of the scene for a couple of years. Last time I was really into it I bought a glassjar Millett Max kit and I have been using it ever since. I have recently become interested again and I've seen that there is a Millett Mosfet Max. I've done a search, so...- Migroo

What DIY project next?
Hi guys So far I've built the following: CMOY (to tangent specs) Pimeta (fairly maxed..) Millett Max Where do I go next? I'd like to do something entirely tube based (ie: not a hybrid). Are there any well established projects? I don't have too much time to invest - it would be really...- Migroo

What DIY project next?
I deliberately left the beta22 off the list! LOL I may make one, one day. It isn't the next project though. I need to learn more to be fair. I was OK with the Millet Max though- Migroo

Acquiring a Chord DAC64 (Used)
My Dad owns one. Its a great DAC! A Sony "777" DVD player + Chord DAC64 was a better setup on CDs than a Musical Fidelity NuVista CD player. We did ABX tests too.- Migroo

What DIY project next?
Hi guys. I'm trying to figure out what project to start next. Strictly speaking I'm not 100% finished with my last project - a Millett Max. I still have most of the casework to do. I'm eager to get another project ordered. My other half is away for a few weeks and I've got lots of free...- Migroo

New Millett Hybrid Maxed Amp
Guys, I bought some 12FK6 tubes from Beezar and I'm going to swap them tonight. I'm expecting to have to re-bias the tubes, but do I have to take the same precautions with the DB bias as I did when setting up the trimmers for the first time? I don't want to risk smoking my DBs! I'm...- Migroo

New Millett Hybrid Maxed Amp
Hi Tom, Thanks - an interesting read. I'll have to do some investigating and see how much voltage I can get out of this thing. Its currently happily powering my Pimeta at about 18v. If I have to find / buy a 24vAC wall wart it isn't the end of the world- Migroo
