Why are more people attracted to bass than treble or midrange?

Why are more people attracted to bass than treble or midrange?
For myself i'd say. . .the tell tale signs of cheap speakers are not being able to handle bass w/o rattle, sounding tinny and unclear. That being said for the most part I haven't heard any cheap speakers that deliver good deep bass. I also feel it is easy for a speaker to deliver crisp highs...- medeiro

FLAC file questions?
I reco getting a DAC, one of the FIIO will suit your needs. It will do the job your onboard sound card tries to do. As for playing the FLAC file, I reco Capricio for the iPhone and there are loads of apps for windows FOOBAR2000.- medeiro

Upgrade to Sennheiser IE8 or Keep IE6
I have ie8, ie80 and ie6. There is not a substantial difference moving from the 6 to the 8 or 80. The 80's are the best but the 6s were amazing to me. I've had shures, sonys, klipsh, altrio, monster coppers and the best were the senns ie80, followed closely by the 8s and then closely by the 6s.- medeiro
