Hi guys,
I'm looking for a pair of IEMS that are an upgrade to my current stock buds.
The genres I listen to are as follows: Metal/rock, trance and K-Pop
I want the bass to be present but don't want it to be overpowering
Main focus is on mids (vocals)
Would like highs to not be rolled off

Yikes, if i didnt have to ship to Haustralia i would sell you my unused ie80s for 350 but the shipping must be killer.

Either the SM3 V2, W4 or e-Q5 would all be good choices for what your looking for.  Now the SM3 and W4 you probably wont find new for $300 but you can find good used pairs in the for sale section here.  The BA200 would also be a good choice, they isolate vocals as good as the SM3.

The JVC-FXZ100s are good, but the FXZ200s are a bit more refined for $220. They have a bit more bass than the fxz100s though. The bass on the fxz100 are present, then becomes blended in the rest of the spectrum. You might want to buy the fxz200s instead.

The FXZ200s look nice, but I was hoping for something a little more comfortable; want to be able to wear them comfortably in bed, any other recommendations? Thanks.
