If going balanced solves problems with the IEMs, then I would definitely go balanced!

I am thinking of getting an OCC Cyro SPC cable for my 700s, hopefully toning down the bright trebles a bit.   Does anyone know if the one in 'white' would slowly oxidise to a green-ish colour after some time? Or would I be better off getting a black one?

On low gain, I can hear the channel imbalance on my JH11s very clearly at the lowest volume of the dial, alongside the very apparent static noise floor (which I don't get with my Pico Slim) when no music is being played.   And when I turn it up a bit more, the imbalance seems to be gone, but...

Does any of you HD700 owner, realised that the steel mesh(es) (3 on each side), seems to pop out a bit?   I mean, like, when you press on them, it seems like there is some air inside?   I just want to make sure I didn't get a defective pair.
