Hi there, I've been using UM1's for over a year now and am too just thinking about upgrading to UM2's.   Hold out for now though! The exact same thing happened to my first pair and I was sent a new pair, however i did my warranty through the retailer and not direct with Westone.

Exactly my experience Somnambulist, my suede soft leather one is slightly looser than brown leather one, but not so loose that the player will slip out.   Overall, great quality for the money.   Tom.

The cases are so well made, it shocked me.   I have the brown one and the black, both smell strongly of leather, I don't know whether they've been sprayed or they are real leather?   Tom.

So is there any way of getting the pure and simple themes onto the 2.3 firmware? The black and blue is horrible, never liked those colours together, they look cheap.
