      One thing I'm pretty sure of is that Hifiman is no longer a 'small business' per se, if that's what you're referring to...    If the rumors are real they may be discontinuing HE-6 very soon, so here's some more pressure for you...

    While I happened to perform both the fuzzor mod and the Sorbothane mod on my HE-6 today, I can almost be sure that the Sorb helped increase the transparency of their sound.     Totally sensible. I can never spend 3k on a headphone so it only gives me relief that HE-6 is by no means far off from HE1K (from what I've read, which is a little).

    Great comparisons. I'm hearing the same differences between W40 & W60 which makes your other comparisons probably even more transferable to my ears.
