The last couple of weekends in May could work for me -have some Audio Technica gear that I could bring as well. 

Seeing these pictures makes me want to pick up a macro lens so badly!  If only the Mrs. would give me permission...

You could try switching the opamp in the card as well if you haven't already.

It's a program called DeskScapes. It's a part of Stardock's Object Desktop.  I don't think I'll ever go back to a static desktop again after being spoiled with this.   http://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/
