Although i am having second thoughts due to the back order having the potential to take up to 4 weeks. I wonder if the Asgard 2 would be a good match to the HD700?

Because i turned away from the DT880/T1 , and went with HD700. From what i hear the HD700 like tube amps, but don't need the "warmth" that the beyers need.

I know it will be, but my new headphones will be here tomorrow. =[

Well, in the end i think i am going to get HD700, because they seem like the middle ground i'm looking for. Plus right now on amazon there only 550.00 new. I also still might pick up a nice tube amp to go along with them.       Thanks everyone for the input.

Also, I really like the Beyerdynamic sound, i just am not a fan of the harshness that they sometimes have in the top end. Thats why i'm thinking a tube amp would go good with them.

I wonder if it's worth the extra 300 to go from the DT880, to the T90? 

I want the T1 really bad, but i also want a tube amp. I just don't have the cash to pull that off.       Whats you opinion on the Beyerdynamic T90?
