Have you tried replacing the files that you are having issues with? You could have introduced errors when copying them.

Are you using the Chimera cable management clip? If you are, try without the clip as it should open the soundstage even more.

I have the LCD-X and with a OCC copper cable (DHC Complement C). I feel it makes a great complement.

The 1Z has a deeper better defined low end, and a smoother wider soundstage.

The 1.5TB is only available as an Ultra. The only difference between Ultra and Extreme is write speed which is only an issue when first copying music on to it.
