Cowon Plenue R2
I just got a Hifiman HE400se. When i rotate the plug in the R2 the music stops and i have to push the play button again. Is that a known issue with some Headphones or is there something wrong with mine? Thanks...- lo-fi-head

Cowon Plenue R2
Cowon must be joking. I dont want to do maths or estimate vaguely every time i have a glance at the remainig time being displayed... And why does the R2 rescan the library every time i start the player? The Plenue D has a standby mode which makes ist start much faster... I hope a firmware update...- lo-fi-head

New model Cowon - Plenue D2
Plenue D vs D2 Today i spent some time comparing several tracks on both devices and realized: i cant hear a difference. So i guess i will send the D2 back and hope for a D3 in a couple of years including improvements in screen resolution and gui speed.- lo-fi-head

I dont have too many VA albums and with the few i just renamed the Artists to "Various Artists" - losing the actual Artist name but making things much easier.- lo-fi-head

You could browse by genre or even subgenre to limit your search - thats what i do. no issues with multiple entries here though. Edit: When your collection is messily tagged it is obviously better to go by folders. It took me quite some time over the years to get my tags straight actually.- lo-fi-head

New model Cowon - Plenue D2
Today i received the PD2. In comparison to the PD(1) the on/off button is somewhat loose and rattles - do other owners of the PD2 experience the same issue? Thinking about exchanging it. Thanks for a hint.- lo-fi-head

SONY NWZ-A10 Series
got a xduoo x2 now in as a15 replacement /in addition to iPhone 5. feels like a great decision right now. simple but great. as long as you dont need tags... and dont exchange the music on it too often. i just keep my fave 100 albums on it.- lo-fi-head

SONY NWZ-A10 Series
Right now i'm actually thinking about not buying a standalone player again. i have an iPhone 5 which sounds as good as the Sony A15. comparison wise this would mainly mean limitation in capacity, but on the other side having a touch screen, nicer gui and a non creaking device...using the a 15...- lo-fi-head
