Any News About Philips Fidelio M2L Headphone DAC Amp

Fostex HP-P1 Portable Amplifier and DAC for iPod/iPhone (Short REVIEW and Impressions Thread)
Question for those who own the HP-P1. I'm thinking of buying it, but I'm concerned about carrying it around. My iPhone is in my pocket, and I don't think the HP-P1 will fit in my pocket with the iPhone. I'm planning on using silicone bands to hold it to the iPhone. Do people use a bag, case...- lasuther

Is iTunes 256kbps good?
I use Apple Lossless. I have about 300 songs taking 8 Gigs on my iPhone. Compressing to 256kbps puts it at 3 Gigs. The space savings isn't worth it for me, so I stick with Apple Lossless.- lasuther

Did some research. From what I've read, the iPhone can only up to 24/48. The iPhone normally down converts to 16bit. But the CLAS and HP-P1 might allow 24/48 output since it bypasses the internal DAC.- lasuther
