The R1/P1 drivers are designed for L-Cushions, so no surprise. For what it's worth, not all Chinese L-Cushions sound the same, the foam density used varies.

Drivers connected in series needs to be PERFECTLY MATCHED (which are not) if you want any decent sound. Do not waste your time, a single, good driver is all it needs.
