Sorry for the negative post, but the Kensei has been my main headphone amp since I bought it--a much better dongle than the other ones I've tried, rivaling and in some cases surpassing my xDuoo desktop amp--and unfortunately, today it died. :( It started cutting out while listening to music...

^300mw is a little underwhelming. The Nunchaku has 525mw. But I guess I'll treat that as a rumor until the spec is officially released.

I'm definitely interested in this. I'm glad that R2R is becoming more prevalent, especially in portable DACs. I found a post on Facebook indicating the intended release window was April 2025, but considering it's the 29th today, there might be a delay...

I definitely want to order this as my first DAP, but maybe when I see it available from a store I'm more familiar with. :)

Well, I caved. I think the only reason I posted this was because I knew I was going to order it anyway: There's something about that purple stain. Also, I was really more interested in a non-resin flake one this time, and this was the only one.

Hmm...I like the design of this better, mainly because of the volume knob. Hope we do see it. (Would this be an alternate M21 or another product altogether?)

The Verite Closed "Maracuja" was one of the best-looking resin flake models I've ever seen. It looked even better in the video Zach uploaded than in the photo on the site. Whoever bought those better post pictures here when it arrives. :grin:

Oof. That's a no-go for clamp and weight. Way too high in both categories. I'm always interested in new closed-backs so when I heard about this one I decided to read through this thread, but I don't think Audeze is for me. The Aune SR7000 looks quite good by comparison though. Very curious...

Not to defend Cayin's decision here, but it kinda seems like all DAP manufacturers are like this? The newest device is the only one that gets any attention or updates. They often promise software updates to other devices that never come. If you're not using their latest flagship, don't expect...

I'm considering these two as well, and as a Roon user, the M21 being Roon Ready is also a point in its favor.
