Help please....my Sony SA5000s...pad lifted..
Not the ear pad ;) But the pad (or whatever you call it where you terminate the cables on to the driver has lifted on my SA5000s). I only recently re-cabled these headphones with an old HD600 cable. Well, I feel asleep with them on to wake up a few hours later...with sound only coming out...- jtwn

Who still has the Sony SA5000?
Got my SA5000s back up and working again after half a decade of no Sony love! The cable had died (standard) and I think I just went and got a pair of AD2000s. Well one of the channels on there died...attempted to resolder it back as I have done many times before and all hell broke lose -...- jtwn

Taket H2+
Hi all...long time since I've been here, head-fi clawing me back again!! So, my Taket H2 seemed to have developed a fault on the left channel, a long time ago. Think I might have overdriven it. So anyway whilst I'll get it fixed I noticed that there is a new H2...one with a + on the end...- jtwn

Worried about UK cutoms/import tax
I've always found to be levied VAT on items that pass from USPS to Parcelforce/RM. Always escape it with other couriers though (experience from some 10-15 big purchases where there was a chance for the taxman to rob me royally).- jtwn
