Choosing between 6 driver CIEMs
Hi guys, So my trusty Shure SE 535s are finally on their way out (right side connector inside the earpiece has snapped in half vertically. Don't ask, I don't know either) and I've been looking around at different CIEMs. I've mainly been looking at companies that are readily available in my...- jtai117

Two Choices, Replace the Earpiece or Reshell
Ahh ok, interesting. I read the second link before, brought up some very good points. How did reshelling change the sound of your IEMs?- jtai117

Two Choices, Replace the Earpiece or Reshell
They should sound similar regardless no? I'm hoping that UM reply soon about what drivers are added to the Shures if I get them reshelled with extra drivers. Do you reckon that adding a driver would be good? I wish I could but I can't afford it sadly. I'd probably just get a set of UM...- jtai117

Two Choices, Replace the Earpiece or Reshell
Hi guys, So the right side of my lovely Shure SE535LTDs has run into a problem where the coaxial stem has been split down the middle and now whenever I move the cable around or just move in general the sound cuts in an out. I asked the Australian distributor/repairer about repairing them and...- jtai117

CIEM Shootout. JH13 vs UM Miracle
Hi guys! So after doing way too much research and talking to a lot of people about different customs and I think I've narrowed it down to the JH13 and the UM Miracle. I'm located in Australia and will be most likely ordering through acustoms.com.au as I'll be participating in a group buy...- jtai117

Custom IEMs :D
It's not like I want the bass to be super dominant, I just want it to be more present than in my Shures. I do need mid clarity and stuff for instrument separation when I'm doing monitors. I have a feeling that I'm going to end up spending 1.5k on the JH16s lol.- jtai117

Custom IEMs :D
Regular work at a church yes but it's a pretty big church and we regularly have a full rock type band. I also occasionally do some studio work and record a little bit too. I think I'm leaning towards something aimed at a sound engineer or something. My shortlist currently is the JH13, JH16, UM...- jtai117

Custom IEMs help please
Hmm... that's average_joe isn't it? joker's legendary multi iem thread has the JH13 and the 1964 V6. Reading a bit more about the UM Miracle and I don't think I'll be picking up one of those as I do like a bit more bass in my IEMs.- jtai117

Custom IEMs help please
So! I've been running with a pair of Shure SE535 LTDs for a couple of years now (I actually have 2 pairs of 535s. Long story) and I've been really happy with the the clarity and the sound signature in general I guess. I tried out a universal pair of JH16 Pros at Jaben Audio and was blown away by...- jtai117
