I think at this price point I am better off spending my money all on amp, not an amp/dac combo? Isn't the DAC in the xonar d2 meant to be fairly decent anyway?

The Little Dot MK V looks like it'd do the job nicely, only it is a little expensive. Is there anything similar in a more affordable price range? EDIT: I've also been recommended the shanling ph100 before. Would this be a strong choice?

I'm looking for a headphone amp for my D2000's. The source is a Xonar D2. I mostly listen to dubstep/dnb/idm, and would like a sound with very clean and volumous bass. I'm on a student budget, but I won't set a price so I can see a "full range" of recommendations. Any ideas along these lines?
