Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
Ok so I just tried with my brother's Macbook and it worked flawlessly, plug , choose amanero as output and enjoy. So Heavyboxer you're using yours via optical limited to 96khz right? I am using mine via USB, now I am horrible with computers and might be doing it wrong but to change the...- JimJames

Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
I've been havig this crackling/poppig issue with my r2r11 since I received it a week or so ago. Today I'll be able to try with a different computer. It is a Mac so those don't need any type of driver to be installed right, or should I start searching for some rivers for iMacs?- JimJames

Audio-gd USB-32 Firmware, Drivers, and Feedback Thread
Yesterday I received my r2r11 and I've been having this issue in which a sort of popping (like the cracks you hear on many vinyl records but more annoying) occurs all throughout any song I play, be it VLC, Foobar or youtube. Happens in both low and high gain. After installing the Amanero driver...- JimJames

Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
How do you adjust the buffer length? Task manager shows CPU working at 10% or lower so I'd asume that's not the matter. I have disconnected all usb from my external HDD where I store my music, and it also happens with youtube tracks. I have tried all 3 usb ports on my laptop (don't have any...- JimJames

Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
I have gone to sound configuration, clicked on properties and turned the predetermined setting to 32 bit 96khz. Also there's a bracket that is named something like speed of sampling (velocidad de muestra in spanish) that asks por compatibility with the digital receiver (r2r11 I asume) and I have...- JimJames

Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
Hello fellas, so my r2r 11 finally arrived (after almost a month + being hit with customs) and it was plug and play, didn't have to install any drivers (my laptop runs on windows; weren't macs and linux the only ones supposed not to need any drivers?). So anyway, the thing is that a series of...- JimJames

Out Of Your Head - new virtual surround simulator
And how much is the Realiser A16 gonna cost? I've seen that they've been using it with the hd800 so it might be a bit of cheating? Is it gonna sound just as perfect with any decent headphone?- JimJames

Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
My R2R11 should arrive next week (or at least I hope so since it's been flying from Guangzhou China since the 18th) but Kingwa told me to check the product to see if it was damaged while the postman was still there. I'm guessing he means if it's suffered any physical damage from handling in the...- JimJames

The AKG K712 Pro Support and Impressions Thread
I've got them recently too (have had them for a week now) and I use them connected straight into my laptop while I wait for my r2r11 to arrive. The soundstage does sound compressed (though you still get a sense of sound coming from out of your head, however close it might be), the imaging is...- JimJames

Audio-gd R2R 11
I ordered the R2R 11 more than a week ago and decided to go for EMS instead of DHL as Kingwa told me EMS had better feedback in Spain. My item was first posted the 14th and has done a lot of going around in China for some reason and now is been stuck in GUANGZHOU since the 18th... Is there...- JimJames

quick question. The guy from audio gd has told me to make the payment via paypal in two times (first 100something then 200something). Should I make the first payment and wait for him to send me an email or just make the two payments right away?- JimJames

Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11
Hey, I think I'm about to order me an r2r 11. Coul anyone be so kind to tell me how long does it take for delivery in Europe (I'm from Spain)? I ask because I will be changing adress soon and if it takes something ridicolous like 1 month or 2 I might be screwed. Big thanks!- JimJames

Amp for ATH-AD2000, Dac for Stax
Ahh that's good to hear then, thanks for your helpful answers. I am basically interested in stax after hearing the mighty Orpheus playing Mahler's 1st symphony; listening to the first movement just felt like I was there, in a great auditorium listening to great musicians... so I am desperately...- JimJames
